Module 1 Assignment: Clap a Rhythm

Wymagania zaliczenia

Instructions

This assignment addresses course outcome(s) X and module learning objective(s)

Make a sentence introducing yourself and your favorite food. For example: “Cissy Whipp likes chips and guacamole.” or “Vanessa Kanamoto likes grilled shrimp.” Now try clapping the rhythm your sentence makes. (Notice how the two examples have very different rhythms.) Create a movement pattern that matches the rhythm pattern of your sentence. Practice until you can repeat it four times in a row.
Assignments are useful when students need to upload documents, provide information, or submit media. They should be appropriate in scope and provide instructions that express clear expectations that will be transparent through use of applicable rubrics.

When designing your assignments, create opportunities for authentic assessment. This means the assignments provide opportunities for critical thinking, problem-solving, reflection, and application of essential skills in a context that is meaningful to the student.

Instructions

This assignment addresses course outcome(s) X and module learning objective(s) X [linked to syllabus]. [Provide clear instructions, both for how the students should complete and format the assignment as well as information such as the naming conventions they should use and the file format required for grading and expected response length.]

Make sure settings are correct for file upload or online text, number of files allowed, notifying graders upon submission, and restrictions/conditional release.

Activity completion: set to "Student must submit this activity to complete it," with expected completion date if desired.
